PROJECT ONE ROOM environmental workshop. Join us in this two-day workshop where you will get creative while you recycle and rethink the meaning of waste. To bring with you: a recycled piece of cardboard, 2’X2’. First part: Saturday. September 11, 2-4PM; Second part, Saturday, September 18th, 2-4PM. For the best results, attend both sessions.
WMD’s – The not-so-secret Weapons for Mass Developments, 1-0-1, a transformational video arts presentation in composition with live music and poetry, presented by the NuMuse Gallery, Friday, September 18th, 5PM
M’BIRA WORKSHOP. Learn to play the African thumb piano. Coordinated by Alex Coleman. Sunday, September 19th, 3-5PM
CITY ROSES: The Manhattan Chapter of the N. American Rock Garden Society meeting features a slide presentation by Anne O'Neill, Curator at the Brooklyn Botanical Garden. Learn about roses that are agreeable in small spaces, beautiful through the seasons, and don't require a chemical arsenal. Rock garden plants will be for sale. Monday, September 20th, 6PM
CLAY WORKSHOP Effie Serlis leads a class in working with clay. Kids under 7 must be accompanied by an adult. Sunday, September 26th, 11-1PM
